The Hong Kong Bioinformatics Centre is sponsored by Innovation and Technology Commission (former the Industry Department of the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The Centre acts as a central data resource for the benefit of Hong Kong biotechnology and industrial community. Computational equipment, technical expertise as well as molecular biology-orientated database are made available to users.
